Former state Rep. Lester P. Branham Jr., a retired minister, has been elected chairman of the Palmetto Health board of directors. Other officers are: James E. “Rick” Wheeler, vice president of M-D MetalSource, vice chairman; Jean E. Duke, financial consultant, treasurer; Beverly D. Chrisman, retired government executive and political consultant, secretary.
