Midlands people and achievements: Paul V. Fant, Sr.

Paul V. Fant Sr. will be honored Thursday as the United Way of the Midlands 2015 Humanitarian of the Year. Fant is president of Fant Consulting LLC and serves as Dominion Carolina Gas Transmission’s senior executive consultant. Previously, Fant worked as president and chief operations officer of Carolina Gas Transmission and SCANA Corp. senior vice president. A Charlotte native, Fant is active in the Midlands and currently serves as a Palmetto Health and Columbia Museum of Art board member. He serves on the BB&T Community Advisory Board, the South Carolina Research Authority Strategic Advisory Group, and the University of South Carolina president’s Community Advisory Council.
