Midlands people and achievements: Diane Salane
Diane Salane of Colliers International was awarded the company’s 2015 International Community Service Award. This award was established in 2011 to recognize Colliers’ staff for commitment and involvement in community, industry and civic activities in the markets Colliers serves across South Carolina. Salane has dedicated two years of her time to Ready, Willing and Able at Transitions Homeless Shelter. The shelter hosts a 12-week program that prepares women who are homeless to transition from the street to a self-sufficient life through teaching interview skills, basic work skills, budgeting skills and more.
