Midlands people and achievements: John W. Folsom

John W. Folsom, president and CEO of Colliers International South Carolina Inc., has been elected to the Colliers International U.S. Board of Advisors. The Colliers Board of Advisors serves an integral advisory function to the executive leadership of the Colliers International U.S. business. Folsom was the 2014 recipient of the highest honor and most prestigious award that Colliers International Americas bestows, the Tom Richardson Award, as a testament to Folsom’s character and commitment to helping others. He is actively engaged in leadership roles in numerous community and statewide civic organizations in South Carolina, including serving as a member of the executive committee of the Midlands Business Leadership Group and a former board member and chair of Providence Hospital.
