Shop Around: ‘Fountain of youth’ spa opens in Forest Acres
For Debra Mitchell, a successful spa doesn't just give good massages--it offers a wide assortment of wellness and therapy options tailored for every customer.
That's why today, Mitchell--a licensed medical doctor for 20 years with a pharmacy background--opens Endless Vitality Aesthetic Center, a new full-service medical spa at 4406A Forest Drive.
"This is the closest you can get to the fountain of youth and it's right here in Forest Acres," said Mitchell who will devlop a personalized wellness plan for each client.
The spa offers a range of beautification services, including customized facials, injectables, eye-lash extensions, spray tanning, non-laser skin treatments and laser services, such as hair removal, skin resurfacing, scar and stretch mark removal and hyperpigmentation removal.
One of the spa’s services is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy--all-natural, plant-based hormones made to match the chemical make-up of naturally produced hormones such as estrogen and testosterone.
"The problem is that as we age, we lose these essential hormones that are actually protective against many chronic diseases," Mitchell said. "This leads to many of the symptoms of menopause and andropause. Replacing these hormones can help ease symptoms without the risks of using synthetic hormones. In fact, these hormones are compounded individually to meet each client’s specific needs. You won’t find this kind of service anywhere else in the Midlands."
In addition to Mitchell, the spa employs estheticians Valencia Conde and Brooke Baken.
Today's grand opening includes raffles, free gifts, refreshments and a tour of the spa.
