People and Achievements: Colonial Life names new CFO

Josh Nelson has been named chief financial officer for Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co. Nelson will focus on driving financial results at Colonial Life and across the Unum Group. He will be responsible for providing financial support, pricing and valuation, as well as overseeing actuarial support and collaboration with Unum US voluntary benefits lines of business. Nelson joins Colonial Life from MetLife, where he most recently served as vice president and chief financial officer of regional markets and sales.
