People and Achievements: Greg Redmond honored by Dominion

Greg Redmond of North, S.C., has been named one of 18 Volunteers of the Year by the Dominion Co. Redmond, an employee of Dominion Carolina Gas Transmission, was recognized for annually providing more than 1,000 hours of volunteer service. Redmond volunteered his time to the Boy Scouts of America’s Indian Waters Council; as captain of the Wolfton, S.C., Fire Department; as a member of the Orangeburg County Special Tactics and Rescue Team; and as captain on the Orangeburg County hazmat team. The Boy Scouts of America’s Indian Water Council will receive a $1,000 grant in Redmond’s name.
