People & Achievements: Bowers named managing director of real estate company

Det Bowers will become managing director of the Newmark Grubb Wilson Kibler commercial real estate company’s statewide offices. Bowers was a licensed attorney for 20 years in federal, state and municipal courts. Born in Estill, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wofford College with a government degree; received his law degree from the University of South Carolina, and a masters from Columbia International University.
