People & Achievements: Stephens named Midlands vice president for TD Bank

Shannon Stephens has been named TD Bank’s regional vice president for the Midlands of South Carolina. A native of Chapin, Stephens brings more than 16 years of banking experience to the Midlands market. He previously served as TD Bank’s commercial team leader in Hilton Head. Prior to his tenure at TD Bank, Stephens held positions with First Citizens Bank in Hilton Head and Anderson, as well as Wachovia Bank, which was later acquired by Wells Fargo, also in Anderson. Stephens earned his bachelor of science degree from Francis Marion University in Florence. He is also a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School, where he served as class president.
