People & Achievements: Columbia dentist honored
Staci Gaffos, a Columbia dentist, was awarded the James B. Edwards Citizenship Award by the South Carolina Dental Association at its 148th annual session held in Hilton Head Island. The Citizenship Award is presented to the dentist who has served South Carolinians in a manner that reflects a positive image of dentistry. Gaffos also was awarded the Honorary Alumnus Award of the M.U.S.C. School of Dentistry. Gaffos practices family dentistry in northeast Columbia.
