Craft beer franchise to open Friday in Columbia’s Vista

The Casual Pint will open its first South Carolina franchise on Friday in Columbia’s Vista. The company says it is the fastest growing franchise in the craft beer industry. It features “hundreds of local, national and international brews, an ever-changing 36 tap wall for growler and pint sales” and bar area for on-site tastings, according to a news release. The restaurant, at 807 Gervais St., suite 100, will hold its grand opening at 4 p.m.

The Casual Pint, based in Knoxville, Tenn., plans to open two more locations in Columbia later this year.
