EdVenture hires McCants to direct extended day programs

Robin K. McCants has been hired as EdVenture’s director of extended day programs, the organization announced. McCants, who grew up in upstate New York, has more than 39 years of professional experience as a certified teacher and early childhood adminstrator. She also is the mother of three grown children and five grandchildren. McCants has a masters in education. She won a national award for excellence for her Even Start Family Literacy program before coming to South Carolina, where she worked for Spartanburg Seven School District and the South Carolina Department of Education.
