Gallivan named president of national legal federation

H. Mills Gallivan of the Gallivan, White & Boyd law firm in Columbia has been named president of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel for a term that will end July 2017. The federation, composed of recognized leaders in the legal community, is dedicated to promoting knowledge, justice and fellowship. Gallivans has spent 40 years serving clients as a civil defense litigator in the areas of workplace practices, personal injury and commercial matters. He now focuses his practice on mediation, alternative dispute resolution and serving as a Special Referee.
