Deneen joins Murphy & Grantland law firm

Henry L. Deneen has been added to the Columbia law firm of Murphy & Grantland serving clients in matters involving business defense and mediation. Deneen began his legal career as a litigator in private practice, and later as a municipal judge for the city of West Columbia. From 1995 through 1997, he served as chief legal counsel for then-South Carolina Gov. David M. Beasley. Beasley and Deneen co-founded The Center for Global Strategies, a non-profit organization connecting businesspeople to international initiatives. Deneen recently served as president of Greater Europe Mission, during which time he earned a doctorate in executive leadership.
