David Anderson joins GrandSouth Bank as Midlands market president
David N. Anderson of Columbia has joined Greenville-based GrandSouth Bank as senior vice president and market president in Richland and Lexington counties, leading the bank’s entry into the Midlands. Anderson, a Wofford College graduate, is a veteran banker in the Columbia area with 38 years of experience here. GrandSouth Bank, which opened for business in 1998, opened its first Midlands branch at 1901 Assembly St. in August. The bank, with assets of $458 million, has offices in Greenville, Fountain Inn, Greer, Anderson, Orangeburg and Columbia.
