J.R. Murphy elected fellow in college dedicated to insurance coverage disputes
J.R. Murphy, co-founder of Murphy & Grantland legal services, has been elected as a fellow in the American College of Coverage Extracontractual Counsel. Murphy was voted on by the College’s Board of Regents. A nominee must be licensed to practice in the South Carolina Supreme Court and have at least 15 consecutive years of substantial engagement in the practice of insurance law. The college, established in 2012, represents the interests of both insurers and policyholders and concentrates on resolving disputes involving insurance coverage and extracontractual damages.
