Nest closing on Main Street

Artisan shop Nest will be permanently closing its doors at 1450 Main St. on May 31.

The shop, which features artist’s creations from around South Carolina and the Southeast that can be found each weekend at downtown’s Soda City Market, opened in the location in December of 2013. The shop’s final First Thursday event, which will feature the works of J. Higgins, will be from 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 4.
