Women’s boutique to open on Main Street
The space formerly home to Nest on Main Street will soon be the new home of Miss Cocky Boutique.
A boutique shop that offers collegiate-licensed and non-collegiate-licensed apparel, jewelry, shoes and accessories, Miss Cocky's first home has been at 621 Gadsden St. where it opened in 2009.
The shop is owned by lifelong friends and Columbia High School graduates Mandy Fannin and Caroline Johnson. In 2008, when Johnson’s husband, Ellis, accepted a job back in Columbia as the University of South Carolina football team’s defensive coordinator, the two friends began planning to bring their idea for a boutique business to life.
Miss Cocky is expected to open at 1450 Main St. in early July.
