Main Street welcomes new Asian restaurant

A locally owned Asian restaurant has joined the growing list of new restaurants opening on Columbia's Main Street.

JJ Tea House opened earlier this month at 601 Main St. in the Adesso building at the corner of Main and Blossom Streets. In addition to authentic Asian soups, appetizers and entrees, JJ's offers an extensive variety of Asian beverages including milk teas, green teas, fruit juices and slushies and tapioca-based drinks.

The restaurant is locally owned and operated by Min Li who told The State he recently moved to Columbia from Charlotte.

JJ Tea House is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
