Shop Around: Village Idiot opens Olympia restaurant
Village Idiot Pizza and Pub opened its newest location last week in the historic Olympia neighborhood at The Mills apartment complex at 612 Whaley St.
The Whaley Street location marks the third for the restaurant. The original Village Idiot has become a Columbia staple since opening in the heart of Five Points on Devine Street in 1990. A second location opened on Forest Drive in Forest Acres in 1999. The restaurants are known for their New York-style pizza, wings, sandwiches, strombolis and calzones.
