Shop Around: Craft beer bar opens in Northeast Columbia

John and Kimberly Gagliardi hope patrons of their new Random Tap craft beer bar in Northeast Columbia will be pleased with whatever selection they choose from the bar's 15 rotating taps.

Located at 10509 Two Notch Rd. near The Village at Sandhill, Random Tap opened shop in late November next door to the Gagliardi's other business, Ivy Room Resale Shop and antiques mall. On the bar's current rotation, are South Carolina brews Evil Twin Doughnut Break Imperial Porter and Holy City Slanter Porch Pale Ale.

The Gagliardis have a festive holiday schedule on tap, as well--one featuring a Seinfeld-inspired Festivus celebration and ugly sweater party on Dec. 19.

Random Tap is open 1-9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
