Shop Around: Northeast welcomes new pediatrician, spa

The Northeast has welcomed two new businesses this month--both of which have the goal of making folks feel better.

SouthernMED Pediatrics opened their new facility at 237 Longtown Rd. (at the corner of Longtown and Killian Roads). Charleston native and Medical University of South Carolina graduate Dr. Andrew Pittard is the physician on staff at location. SouthernMED also has two locations in Lexington, one in Batesburg and another in Orangeburg.

And John Edwards opened his second Blythewood business this year with the opening of Upscale Massage and Spa last week. In January, Edwards opened Upscale Cutz and Stylz at 160 Langford Rd.

Upscale Massage and Spa is located at 152-B Blythewood Rd. and is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
