Shop Around: Midlands Orthopaedics to open Lexington location

Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery will be opening a Lexington office in the former Monkey Joe's amusement center location at 109 Park Place Ct. off Sunset Boulevard.

Midlands Orthopaedics formed in 2014 through a merger with Lowcountry Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Charleston. The practice currently operates four locations in the Midlands: two in Columbia, one in Irmo and one in West Columbia.

The Lexington location is expected to open Aug. 20.
