Restaurant to open soon at site of former Bush River Shoney’s

After three years in the planning, Cook Out is expected to open this fall at 600 Bush River Rd. on the site of the former Shoney’s Restaurant which closed there in 2012.

The Bush River Road Cook Out will be the fifth Columbia area location for the North Carolina-based fast food chain that specializes in burgers, hot dogs and milkshakes and its 30th location in South Carolina.
