Palmetto Health ready to start hiring for Parkridge facility

Palmetto Health's new Parkridge facility is close enough to opening that it's time to start the hiring process.

Especially if you have health care experience and training, you might want to stop by the job fair on Wednesday or Thursday at Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge, 100 Palmetto Health Parkway in northwest Columbia.

Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge is scheduled to open in spring 2014. The first wave of hiring will focus on the jobs that are hardest to fill - nurses, surgical technicians and patient support technicians.

The new 76-bed hospital, just off I-26 at the Lake Murray Boulevard exit, will provide in-patient and emergency care.
