Chef Jeff tells C.A. Johnson students they can create their own success
Chef Jeff Henderson appeared at C.A. Johnson High School on Tuesday, sharing with students his story of going from an imprisoned drug dealer to a renowned chef.
Chef Jeff is creator of the Food Network’s reality series The Chef Jeff Project, host of Family Style with Chef Jeff and star of the popular series Flip My Food with Chef Jeff.
Henderson is also a best-selling author. His most recent book is “If You Can See It, You Can Be It,” which outlines his 12 street-smart recipes for success. After leaving prison, Chef Jeff went on to become the first African-American chef at Las Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel.
His visit, part of the statewide Be A Boss Youth Empowerment Tour, was organized by EdVenture Children’s Museum.
