Tropical Storm Julia forms off Jacksonville, Florida
Tropical Storm Julia formed over the Northeast Florida coast on Tuesday.
The current National Hurricane Center forecast projects Julia’s winds up to 39 miles per hour reaching into South Carolina by Sunday at 8 p.m.
Rainfall associated with this storm is expected all along the Georgia and South Carolina coast. The heaviest rainfall of 6-10 inches will likely remain off the coast but up to 6 inches of rain is possible inland along the coast as far north as Myrtle Beach.
