Richland 1 hurricane make-up coming in January, March and April

Richland 1 students will go to school Jan. 13, March 31 and April 17 to make up the three days missed because of Hurricane Matthew, officials said Monday.

Schools closed Oct. 5, 6 and 7 after Gov. Nikki Haley ordered them shut down in anticipation of the storm.

The make-up days would have been either student holidays or professional development days for teachers and staff.
