Man whose body was discovered at Columbia self-storage facility identified

The dead man found in a U-Haul self-storage building on the 1000 block of Elmwood Avenue was identified Thursday as 71-year-old Phillip Robert Tutt. Richland County coroner Gary Watts said an autopsy determined that the Columbia man died from natural causes.

Employees of the storage facility discovered Tutt’s body on Sunday, June 25.
