Columbia man dies after August 10 collision in northeast Columbia

A 21-year-old Columbia man died on Tuesday after the motorcycle he was driving was involved in a collision 5 days earlier in northeast Columbia, Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said in a news release on Friday.

Rhayann H. Gill of Morninglo Lane died as a result of injuries he sustained around 11:30 p.m. on Fontaine Road near the intersection with 277, Watts said.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the collision.
