1 woman dies in 2-car crash on Broad River Rd. overnight
A Columbia woman is dead after a two-car crash on Broad River Road Tuesday night.
Talashia Tucker, 25, was the driver and only occupant of her vehicle that was traveling south on Broad River when it crossed into the northbound side of the road and was struck by another vehicle, according to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts. The collision happened in the 4500 block of Broad River around 11:30 p.m.
Tucker died at the scene due to multiple trauma associated with the crash, Watts said.
The Columbia Police Department is investigating the wreck.
