Boil water advisory issued in West Columbia

The City of West Columbia issued a boil water advisory for customers Thursday afternoon.

The advisory is for customers on Bensmin Drive, Dalewood Drive, Kirkwood Drive, Morningdale Drive, Sandalwood Drive, Shampy Street, the 2800 through 2825 block of Franklin Street and the 2700 through the 2900 block of Rainbow Drive.

Customers should boil their water one full minute prior to drinking or cooking, and customers near the area who have lost water pressure should do the same.
