1 killed, 3 injured in Lexington County crash
One person is dead and three injured after a Friday night crash in Lexington County.
The driver of a 1987 Toyota pickup truck was not wearing a seat belt when the truck went through a stop sign at the intersection of Whiskey and Neely Wingard roads around 8:45 p.m. Friday, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The pickup was struck by a 2003 Ford Escape traveling west on Neely Wingard.
The driver of the pickup was killed in the crash. The passenger in the pickup and two people in the Escape, each of whom was wearing a seat belt, were injured and being treated.
No charges will be filed, as the driver who was killed was the person at fault in the collision, according to Highway Patrol.
