Columbia native to appear on new season of ‘The Bachelor’
One of 29 women competing for the heart of America’s new “Bachelor” hails from Columbia.
She’s one of two South Carolina natives appearing on the new season of “The Bachelor,” ABC announced recently.
Brittany T. is described as a 30-year-old tech recruiter who loves to eat ramen, sushi, pizza and poke bowls and has had bad experience with dating apps.
According to her Instagram account, she’s currently living in Austin, Tex., though her show bio lists Columbia as her hometown.
Another South Carolina woman, 30-year-old orthopedic nurse Nysha from Belton, also will be competing for the affections of Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr.
A former racecar driver, Luyendyk previously appeared on “The Bachelorette” as a contestant on Emily Maynard’s season.
His moment in the love limelight debuts Monday, Jan. 1, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
