Why Columbia is the best place to travel in the US this April
Columbia was named on Wednesday the best place to travel in April 2018 by a national travel website.
Expedia, which compiles annual lists of the best places to travel, picked Soda City for April, because the “city has so many events jammed into the calendar, you may find yourself wishing you had a body double.”
Expedia also named Columbia the No. 1 destination in April because the weather is perfect that month, “not too cold and not too hot.” With everything the city has to offer during the month, “you may feel like you need a vacation after your trip ... but isn’t that the sign of any good getaway?”
Honorable mentions go to Kiawah Island in Charleston County, which was named a runner-up among the places to visit in September.
