Downtown Sumter loses power after tractor trailer crash

Power is out in the downtown Sumter area after a tractor trailer struck a pole, according to the Sumter Police Department.

The tractor trailer struck a pole at South Sumter and Oakland Streets late Tuesday morning, police said. Duke Energy is on the scene.
