Chester man pleads guilty to second manslaughter charge
CHESTER, S.C. (AP) – A Chester man convicted of manslaughter in a 2010 death has pleaded guilty to killing another man in 2009.
The Herald of Rock Hill (http://bit.ly/1EiRGvy) reports that Keith Ramon Keener pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Tuesday in the 2009 shooting death of 41-year-old Eddie James Hall. Investigators think Hall was lying on his couch when a bullet came through the wall and struck him.
Keener was sentenced to 25 years in prison, which he will serve at the same time he continues a 27-year sentence he was given in an earlier killing.
Keener pleaded guilty three years ago to voluntary manslaughter in a 2010 shooting death after prosecutors said he fired into a crowd at a nightclub.
Twenty-four–year-old Antonio Price was killed and two other people were hurt.
