Gas leak closes part of major downtown Columbia street
Traffic on Assembly Street is moving again after a gas leak closed a portion of the downtown thoroughfare Tuesday morning.
Both sides of Assembly were closed near Pendleton Street, the Columbia Fire Department said around 8:30 a.m.
All lanes of Assembily Street have reopened, the Columbia Police Department said just after 10:15 a.m.
