The city of Columbia’s only outdoor pool this summer, at Maxcy Gregg Park, opens Saturday for the season.

Residents citywide will have to make do with Maxcy’s Olympic-sized pool this summer, as the Greenview pool is getting a major makeover. Maxcy Gregg will remain open through Labor Day.

Want to swim indoors? Visit Drew Park Pool, off Harden Street, at 2101 Walker Solomon Way.

And don’t forget the city’s many splash pads. They offer a quick break from the summer heat, free of charge. They open Saturday, too.
