Columbia Museum of Art to offer free summer admission to military personnel, their families
Columbia Museum of Art offering free admission for military personnel and their families this summer.
The Museum announced its participation in the Blue Star Museum initiative, a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across the country, according to a release.
Free admission will be offered to all active duty military personnel and their families on Memorial Day through Labor Day.
More than 2,000 museums in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and American Samoa are taking part in the initiative, according to the release.
Columbia Museum of Art is located at 1515 Main Street in Columbia.
