Fiery crash closes both lanes of travel on I-26 Wednesday morning
A fiery crash involving a fuel tanker has closed down both lanes of travel on I-26 for morning commuters Wednesday, according to safety officials.
Two tractor-trailer trucks collided just before 6 a.m. between the Piney Grove and St. Andrews road exits, according to officials. A fire broke out at the scene forces multiple emergency personnel to respond to the area. All commuters are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
So far, officials have not released a report on how many people may have been injured in the collision.
