Time to squeal: Lexington County Sheriff seeking owner of pig left at ‘porking’ lot

Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the owners of a pig that was left in the parking lot at county animal services last week.

The pig has black fur and is identified as a female. It is pictured in a cage in a post the sheriff’s department made on Jan. 18.

“Somebody left this pig in the County of Lexington Animal Services office parking lot this week. Or was it the porking lot?” the post read.

LCSD said officers are keeping the pig fed, but anyone with information should call Sgt. Ben Treaster at 803-518-7921.
