Boil water advisory issued in Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC A broken 6-inch water main has prompted Columbia Water Works officials to issue a boil water advisory for residents of several roads off Fairfield Road in Richland County.

Residents of Stebondale Road, Barnsbury Road and Delverton Road are urged to vigorously boil any water used for drinking, preparing food or making ice for at least 60 seconds before use. Anyone near the affected area who has experienced a drop or loss of water pressure should follow the same recommendation.
