A 15-year-old girl was killed and two other teens were injured in a crash while they were on their way to school Thursday morning, according to the Sumter County Coroner’s Office.

The deadly crash happened just after 8 a.m. on West Brewington Road in Sumter, according to Sumter County Coroner Robbie Baker, who identified the victim as 15-year-old Za’ Mani Fulmore, of Dalzell.

Fulmore was a passenger in the car that crashed, Baker said. The driver and another passenger both were injured.

All three were Crestwood High School students on the way to school, Baker said.

An autopsy to determine Fulmore’s cause of death will be conducted Friday morning at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Details about the crash are limited, but the S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating.
