Printing company expanding, adding 50 jobs in West Columbia

A printing and marketing company based in Orangeburg is expanding in the Midlands and adding 50 new jobs.

Sun Solutions, which operates several facilities around South Carolina, announced on Wednesday that it is investing more than $10 million in a new 100,000-square-foot building in West Columbia.

Construction of the new plant is expected to be finished in about a year and hiring of the new workers will begin this spring.

The new positions will include print and sign manufacturing as well as management, sales and information technology jobs.
