Cab driver fatally shot over the weekend
The Columbia Police Department officers are investigating the deadly weekend shooting of a cab driver.
The shooting occurred at the 4300 block of Brookridge Drive shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The male victim was shot while working for Checker Yellow Cab Co.. Police did not identify the victim.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office is assisting investigators to determine the cause of death and in locating and notifying the victim’s relatives.
No arrests have been made.
