The COMET bus system will be adding a route to Lexington and Batesburg-Leesville starting next week.

“ReFlex Route 97” will run between West Columbia to Batesburg-Leesville every Thursday and will cost $2 each way and $4 round trip, according to the organization’s website.

Riders can see bus stop locations and times by going to http://catchthecometsc.gov/routes/ and scrolling down to Route 97.

For an additional charge of $2, the COMET will travel up to one mile off the route.
