SC-grown shoe boutique expands to Columbia’s trendy Devine Street

From Greenwood to Greenville and now to Columbia, a South Carolina-based women’s shoes and accessories boutique has joined the growing collection of trendy shops in the capital city’s Devine Street district.

Blossom Shoes & Such opened last weekend at 2850 Devine St., across the street from Henry’s restaurant, Fern florist and the Devine Street fire station.

The store specializes in high-end, fashion-forward women’s shoes, from wedges to sneakers to pumps by designers such as Kate Spade and Dolce Vita, and also sells a variety of accessories such as scarves, wallets, handbags and jewelry.

It is the third store for the boutique that first opened 11 years ago in downtown Greenwood.

Blossom Shoes is one of the newest retailers in one of Columbia’s most upscale shopping areas. It complements the likes of LaRoque, Mainstream Boutique, Just the Thing, Britton’s and other boutique stores along Devine Street.

The area has been poised for a business boom since the recent opening of the new Devine District and The Trolley high-end apartments and condominiums, respectively.
