Columbia’s CammWess performs tonight in ‘The Voice’ finale. Here’s how to watch

South Carolina’s own CammWess has made it to the final round of the popular national talent show “The Voice.”

CammWess, a native of Hopkins who lives in Blythewood, just outside the capital city, was voted into the finals last week after his performance of “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves.

Last week’s top nine contestants performed songs dedicated to their biggest fans; CammWess dedicated his song to his young cousin. Each performance was recorded from the contestants’ homes across the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.

CammWess is a 2015 graduate of Columbia’s Dreher High School who attended Winthrop University. But he put college on hold to pursue his music career, according to NBC.

He’s made waves on the show as a member of Team Legend, coached by pop superstar John Legend.

CammWess will be one of five contestants competing in this week’s final round. The singers will perform Monday night, and the winner will be revealed Tuesday after voting.

“The Voice” airs from 8-10 p.m. Monday on NBC, and the finale will air Tuesday from 9-11 p.m. It is the first time the finale has featured five finalists.
