Search ends for Midlands teenager days after she was last seen, SC cops say

The search for a missing Midlands teenager ended last week, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said.

Neveah Andrews was located and safely returned to her family on the evening of Sept. 15, according to the sheriff’s office.

Andrews had not been seen since Sept. 11, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The 16-year-old was called a runaway and was publicly reported missing by the sheriff’s office on Sept. 14.

Andrews left her Silo Road home during the night, according to the sheriff’s office. That’s in Sumter, near U.S. 15.

Information on where Andrews was found, or if he was alone, was not made available.

There was no word on why Andrews ran away from home.
